- Historiography, rhetoric and nationalism
- Aesthetics, ethnocentrism, and political theory.
Michael Nau received his B.A. in English Literature from Brooklyn College (CUNY) concentrating on postcolonial and postmodern literatures. In 2004-2005 he was in Indonesia on a Fulbright grant to research the narrative strategies and cultural production of the Jakarta "liberal epistemic circle." In 2008 he will take up residence in Germany and work in the research group "Idioms of Social Analysis," part of the Center of Excellence EXC16 "Cultural Foundations of Social Integration" at the University of Konstanz. |
